Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrival in Kathgodam + Check-in at Almora

Your tour will start from Kathgodam. We will pick you up from the railway station and then drive on to our first destination of this Uttarakhand tour which is Almora. This is a drive of around 2-3 hours by car. On arrival in Almora, you can check in at your pre-booked hotel and rest for the day.

2Day Almora sightseeing

We will begin this day with Almora sightseeing and visit the best places in the hill station of Almora. We will visit the famous temples here which are Kasar Devi Temple, Nanda Devi Temple, and Katarmal Sun Temple. Katarmal Sun Temple is an architectural heritage temple in Uttarakhand and is only second in importance after the Konark Sun Temple in Orissa. The ruins of the Katarmal Sun Temple are remarkably preserved even after so many centuries. The temple has Nagara-style architecture and is one of the major temples in Uttarakhand. After this visit to Almora, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure and shop around for some woolen shawls, local jewelry, and other souvenirs.

3Day Almora to Binsar

You will now check out from Almora and drive to another famous Uttarakhand destination, that is Binsar. It will take around 2 hours to reach Binsar by car. On arrival in Binsar, you can check in at the hotel. Binsar is one of the most scenic hill stations in Uttarakhand, and you can see the mountain peaks of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Shivlinga, and Kedarnath very clearly from here. You can have a stroll in some nearby areas around your hotel and relax in your hotel.

4Day Binsar sightseeing

We will do a full-day Binsar sightseeing tour on this day. You will begin with the famous Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is the best place to spot rare and colorful Himalayan birds. Some creatures you might spot here are the Himalayan bear, Flying Squirrel, snow leopard, Barking Deer, etc. Later we will visit Jageshwar Temples, which are a group of around 125 temples, which were built between the 7th to 14th centuries. These temples are the architectural wealth of Uttarakhand and are one of the most significant temples in Uttarakhand. We can also visit Kasar Devi Temple and Chitai Golu Devta Temple. We will visit Zero Point, which is a viewpoint that offers scenic views of Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, Trishul, and Shivlinga mountain peaks. Later we will return to the hotel and you can rest for the day.

5Day Binsar to Kausani

We will now check out from Binsar and you can drive to yet another famous Uttarakhand destination, that is Kausani. You can reach Kausani after a drive of around 2-3 hours. Kausani is a small hill station in Uttarakhand, which is famous for its tea estates, ancient temples, waterfalls, and mountain views. On arrival in Kausani, you will do all the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel and rest for the day.

6Day Kausani sightseeing

We will go on a sightseeing tour of Kausani on this day. The places that we will visit here are Kausani Tea Estate, Sumitranandan Pant Museum, Anashakti Ashram, Rudradhari Falls, and Lakshmi Ashram. You can have a stroll in the local market and do some shopping if you like. Arrive back at your hotel and rest overnight.

7Day Kausani to Ranikhet

You will now check out from Kausani and proceed to visit another famous Uttarakhand hill station, that is Ranikhet. The driving time from Kausani to Ranikhet is around 2-3 hours. On arrival in Ranikhet, you will check in at the pre-booked hotel and rest overnight.

8Day Ranikhet sightseeing

We will begin this day with a full-day tour of all the best places to visit in Ranikhet. We will begin with the Jhula Devi Temple, which is the temple of Goddess Durga. Later we will visit various other places in Ranikhet such as Kalika Temple and Golf Course, Chaubatia Orchard. You can view scenic views of the Nanda Devi, Trishul, and other mountain peaks from the Chaubatia Orchards. After this sightseeing trip to Ranikhet, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

9Day Ranikhet to Kathgodam

You will now check out from Ranikhet and drive to Kathgodam, which is the end of this fantastic Uttarakhand tour.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
