Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrive in Amritsar + Wagah Border

Your tour starts as you arrive in Amritsar. Our tour representative will pick you up from Amritsar Railway Station/ Amritsar Airport and transfer you to the hotel in Amritsar. Later after check-in and some rest you will visit the Attari-Wagah Border and view the Flag Retreat Ceremony. You will experience the show of bravery and parade at the Beating the Retreat, which is a ceremony full of national pride. Wagah Border is around 30 km from Amritsar and this is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Amritsar sightseeing tour. Later you will return to Amritsar in the evening and have a rest at the hotel.

2Day Amritsar sightseeing

You will begin this day with a sightseeing tour of Amritsar. You will visit the most famous tourist attractions in the city of Amritsar on this day. First, you will visit the Golden Temple of Amritsar. This temple is called as it has gold leaf on top of the gurudwara. The original name of the Golden Temple is Harmandir Sahib and this Sikh gurudwara ranks among the foremost gurudwaras of the Sikh religion. The Sarovar (pond) near the gurudwara has sacred water and pilgrims make it a point to have a dip in this pond and then visit the gurudwara.
You will now visit Jallianwala Bagh, which is within walking distance from the Golden Temple Gurudwara. Jallianwala Bagh is a memorial site where British officers shot many people in 1919. There are bullet marks that are still preserved here as a harsh memory of that unfortunate event in the Indian freedom struggle. We will now take you to another famous tourist destination in Amritsar, which is called Durgiana Temple. The architecture of this temple is very similar to that of the Golden Temple, and the main deity of this temple is Goddess Durga.
You will now have lunch and later visit the local market near Golden Temple. Here you can shop for famous items in Amritsar like Punjabi jootis, jewelry, handicraft items, Phulkari dresses, Pashmina shawls etc. You will later visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, where there is a large collection of paintings, coins, photographs, manuscripts, weapons, ammunition, etc. After this sightseeing tour of Amritsar, you can have the evening free for leisure activities or rest. You will now stay in the hotel in Amritsar for the night.

3Day Arrival in Jammu

After check-out from Amritsar, you will now proceed to visit Jammu by car. It will take around 5-6 hours to reach Jammu by national highways. You can check-in at your hotel in Jammu and stay here for the night.

4Day Jammu sightseeing

You will begin after breakfast on a sightseeing tour of Jammu. Jammu is located on the banks of the Tawi River and is famous for its Hindu temples. You will visit the famous tourist attraction in Jammu on this day and most of the sightseeing will be by car. Peer Khoh is a cave temple with a Shiv linga and many other small temples and shrines. You will visit the Amar Mahal Palace Museum where there is a huge collection of books, paintings, and a golden throne is the highlight of this museum. We will not take you to Bagh-e-Bahu, which is a spectacular landscaped Mughal garden with walking paths and lots of greenery and trees. You can visit the aquarium here which has lots of fish and other marine creatures. You will visit Raghunath Temple, which is the temple of Lord Ram and is one of the largest temple complexes in North India. You will now return to your hotel in Jammu after this sightseeing tour of Jammu and stay in the hotel for the night.

5Day Jammu to Patnitop

You will now check-out from Jammu and reach Patnitop by road. On reaching Patnitop you will check-in at the hotel and visit some places here like Nag Devi Temple and Patni Top Park. The viewpoints in Patnitop are famous for their scenic views of the Himalayan mountain ranges. You will return to your hotel in the evening after some sightseeing in Patnitop and rest here for the night.

6Day Patnitop sightseeing

You will visit some other famous places in Patnitop on this day and we will take you to Sanasar Lake, which is a very scenic lake with mountain views and you can go on a shikara boat ride in Sanasar Lake. You can take the gondola ride on the ropeway in Patnitop and this is the most amazing thing to do here. You can take a short trek to Natha Top and view the magnificent scenic beauty of Patnitop Hill station. Later you can relax in your hotel in Patnitop and stay here for the night.

7Day Patnitop to Pahalgam

You will now check-out from Patnitop and drive to Pahalgam by road. You can make short halts on this route to admire the view of Chinar trees, Islamic mosques, saffron fields, and Mughal gardens. Some famous tourist attractions on this route are Martand Sun Temple and Achabal Mughal Gardens. On arrival in Pahalgam you will check-in at the hotel and then rest here for the night.

8Day Pahalgam sightseeing

You will visit some famous valleys in Pahalgam in the morning and these are Mamaleshwar Temple, Aru Valley, Mini Zoo, and Lidder Amusement Park. There are many viewpoints and waterfalls you will spot in Pahalgam. The scenic views of the Lidder River that flow through Pahalgam are one of the best views you can have. You can sit by the river and have pony rides here. Pahalgam is the base for many famous treks in Kashmir such as Tarsar Marsar Trek, Amarnath Yatra, etc. The meadows, snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys, river streams, and waterfalls lend spectacular scenic beauty to Pahalgam. Later on, you can rest in your hotel in Pahalgam for the night.

9Day Pahalgam to Srinagar

You will check-out from Pahalgam and then proceed to Srinagar. On arrival in Srinagar check-in at the hotel and stay here for the night.

10Day Srinagar local sightseeing

This morning you will go on a sightseeing tour of Srinagar. You will visit Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi which are beautiful Mughal gardens in Srinagar. You will now visit the Tulip Garden and Shankaracharya Temple. In the evening you will have a shikara boat ride in Dal Lake. Later you will return to your hotel in Srinagar and stay here for the night.

11Day Excursion to Sonmarg

In the morning you will visit Sonmarg and you will view the magnificent mountains and scenery on the route. Sonmarg is a famous tourist destination in Kashmir and is very close to Ladakh. You will go on a horse ride to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a huge glacier with snow for the entire year. Sonmarg has some excellent trekking trails and these will take you to some beautiful lakes like Satsar Lake, Baltal Valley, Gadsar Lake, etc. You can try your hand at trout fishing and angling in Sonmarg. There are some spectacular waterfalls here and walnut orchards and some great camping places. After this trip to Sonmarg, you will return to your hotel in Srinagar and rest here for the night.

12Day Srinagar to Gulmarg

You will visit Gulmarg on this day and this is among the finest scenic places in Kashmir region. Among the various things to do here in Gulmarg is the gondola ride, pony rides, skiing, golfing, etc. Gulmarg has featured in so many Bollywood movies and its scenic beauty has no words to describe. You can visit Drung Waterfall, Alpather Lake, besides many other places in Gulmarg. The Gulmarg Gondola ride is a must if you want to have a real thrill in Gulmarg. After the exciting day at Gulmarg, you will return to your hotel in Gulmarg and rest here for the night.

13Day Gulmarg to Srinagar

You will check-out from Gulmarg and reach Srinagar. You can keep this day for relaxation/ shopping/ leisure activities. You will stay here at the pre-booked hotel and rest here for the night.

14Day Departure from Srinagar

You will check-out from Srinagar on this day and we will drop you at Srinagar Railway Station/ Srinagar Airport and you can leave for your hometown by train/ flight.

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
