Day Wise Itinerary Download

1Day Arrive in Srinagar + Srinagar sightseeing

Your tour will start as you arrive in Srinagar. Our tour representative will pick you up from the Srinagar Airport/ Srinagar Railway Station and transfer you to your houseboat in Dal Lake. After check-in and rest in the houseboat, you will begin a tour of Srinagar and visit all the famous tourist attractions in Srinagar. We will take you to the best Mughal gardens in all of India, and these are located in Srinagar. You will visit Shalimar Gardens, Chashmi Shahi, Nishat Bagh, Pari Mahal, and Shankaracharya Temple. You can keep the evening free for relaxation or leisure activities. Later you will have dinner in the houseboat and taste delicious Kashmiri delicacies. You will rest for the night in the houseboat.

2Day Arrive in Pahalgam + sightseeing

In the morning you will go on a trip to Pahalgam by car. Pahalgam is a very famous place with scenic valleys, snow-capped mountains, green forests, meadows, pastures, and flowing river streams. You will see the saffron fields on the route and visit the ancient ruins of a Vishnu Temple at Awantipora. You will view fantastic scenery from your car and the Jhelum River which flows near the route. You will check-in at the hotel in Pahalgam on arrival. After some rest, you can drive through the forests and sit beside the Lidder River. Pahalgam looks very beautiful and its landscapes of green valleys and forests are very pleasing to the eyes. In the evening you will return to your hotel in Pahalgam and rest here for the night.

3Day Pahalgam sightseeing + Return to Srinagar

You will visit some popular places of sightseeing in Pahalgam in the morning. You will visit Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari. In the evening you will return to Srinagar and stay in the hotel for the night in Srinagar.

4Day Excursion to Gulmarg

In the morning we will take you on an excursion to Gulmarg. This is a valley with incredible beauty and picturesque ski slopes. There are lush green forests, deep valleys, lofty mountains, evergreen pastures, and river streams which flow here. You can enjoy pony rides, and ride a gondola cable car. The ropeway ride in Gulmarg is considered to be the second highest in the world. You can enjoy skiing on the snowy slopes here if you know how to ski. Many operators teach you how to ski. The golf course in Gulmarg is ranked as one of the highest in the world. The gondola rides to Apharwat Peak are also one of the best things to do here. But if you are going in the off-season, then you will get the tickets easily. (There are two stages in this gondola ride and you can easily do the first phase from Gulmarg to Kangdoor quickly. But look out for the weather and do not stop to admire the scenery, else it gets very cloudy and dark here). After a full day of adventure activities in Gulmarg, you will return to Srinagar and rest here for the night at the hotel.

5Day Srinagar to Kargil

In the morning you will check-out from Srinagar and leave for Kargil. You will drive on the Zoji La Pass, this mountain pass connected Kashmir with the Ladakh region. You can admire the scenic landscapes of Ladakh from your window seat of the car. The lofty mountain ranges, the deep valleys, and the forests slowly give way to desert-like landscapes and rugged cliffs. On the way, you can stop by to admire the scenic beauty of the Sonamarg and Kargil War Memorial at Drass. After you arrive at Kargil, you can check-in at your hotel for the stay and check-in here. Now you can rest for the night at Kargil.

6Day Kargil to Leh

In the morning you will start for Leh and this is a wonderfully scenic journey through the finest Ladakhi landscapes. You will travel through places of immense natural beauty. On the route, there are several scenic places like Lamayuru Moonland, Mulbekh Monastery, Alchi Monastery, Likir Gompa, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Indus Viewpoint, Basgo Gompa, Saspol Caves. When you reach Leh you can check-in at the hotel and you will have to acclimatize for a day to the high-altitude level. You shouldn't overexert yourself and take complete rest for the entire day.

7Day Leh sightseeing

You will visit the famous tourist attractions in Leh on this day such as Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame, and Zorawar Fort. Leh Market has many restaurants and shops and you can explore this market in the evening. Afterward, you will return to your hotel and take a rest.

8Day Nubra Valley

You will visit Nubra Valley on this day. After check-in from Leh, you can proceed to Nubra Valley. On the way you will drive on one of the highest mountain passes in India, which is Khardung La Pass. This Leh to Nubra Valley route is one of the most scenic routes where you can view the most spectacular scenic landscapes on the way. There are several viewpoints on this route where you can stop and admire the Ladakhi cold desert landscapes. The zigzag mountain roads and hairpin bends make the journey even more exciting. You will see the beautiful Shyok River flowing along the route. Also, visit the spectacular the sand dunes at Hunder. On reaching Nubra Valley you can view the white sand dunes here and the confluence of Shyok and Nubra River. You will enjoy the camel ride at Nubra Valley and Hunder. In the evening you can rest in your camp at Nubra Valley.

9Day Nubra to Pangong Tso Lake

You will now check-out from Nubra Valley and visit Pangong Tso Lake. This is a drive of around 7-8 hours and you will reach the hotel/ camp/ Resort at Pangong in the evening time. Thereafter you can rest at the hotel after checking in and do sightseeing the following day.

10Day Pangong Tso Lake sightseeing

You will do sightseeing in Pangong Tso Lake on this day. This lake is partly in India and part of it is in the Tibetan side. There are many viewpoints from where you can view the entire lake. You must remember that boating or drinking water from the lake is not permitted. Just enjoy the beauty of the lake and its surroundings. Later you can stay overnight at the resort near Pangong.

11Day Return to Leh

We will now leave for Leh in the morning and drive from Pangong to Leh by SUV/ MUV. On arrival at Leh we will drop you at Leh Airport from where you can continue your forward journey.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made before 20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 30% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
